I love when Abu says, "Homer, how dare you make fun of my religion. You are not welcome in my store any more... Thank you, come again."(Or something like that, it's been a while.)
My favorite is "Did we lose a war or something? That's not America, that's not even Mexico!"
GkL,Maybe I should have a Simpsons paraphrase of the week.SkyDad,I love that one! Dan C's delivery makes that line as is often the case.-EG
"You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel!"
I've dated that guy. A hundred of 'em.
You dated Pistols at Dawn?
The beauty of the Simpsons is that lines like this are throwaways and you can watch any given episode to glean a few more. One of my faves (on a candy wrapper):"Nuts and Gum: Together at Last !!!"
There are so many lines and touches to that show that are classic. I still love when Marge was put on hold while calling the asylum where Homer had been committed and the 'hold music' was Crazy.
They have used several hold music gags like that including one of the many times that Maggie disappeared. They called the missing child hotline only to be put on hold listening to "Baby, Come Back."
