Without Red I am blue.

Red landed in Chicago around noon today. She will be there for a week or so for a work conference. I could not accompany her since I have work crap of my own and have other restrictions.

She sent me a text that she had landed safely, and I am glad she arrived in one piece. But almost immediately my heart sank. I am sure I'll get by, but without her I'm like cornflakes without the milk.

Please take care of her, Chicago.

Like Chachi and Joanie, she's the cheese and you're the macaroni.

What, are you going to post pictures of puppies next?!

I think you have to change your moniker to Sappy Genius.

Ha ha ha ha! You're in love, and that brings down all great artists. However, I do appreciate all references to Oran "Juice" Jones.

Yo, McGone. Whatcha on the mic for?

GkL, perhaps I could post videos of frolicking orange kittens instead? How sappy would that be?

Ha ha ha, I'm gonna get laid, Pistols! Though I know I can always count on you to pick up my references, no matter how arcane.

I figured that remark was coming but that's my norm, and I'm not pretending to be evil. Besides, orange cats are funny and puppies are just sappy. That reminds me... time to update my videos.

Irony, Kristi. Just layers and layers of irony.

I missed the reference, I think -- unless it's something like "strumming one's guitar = masturbation." But, that could be reaching (ooh -- double-entendre there.

You are looking in the wrong place, Hillman.

This is so incredibly sweet! I am touched! (Though also, sadly, not with EG being so far away.) I didn't think I'd get to check this stuff while I was gone, but here I am commenting. EG, you're not getting laid until I get back, right? Or is that part of the song reference that I, too, totally missed?

I know how you feel. Flannery is in Boston.

I just posted about a kitten. My blog has officially gone to the dogs.
