Meeting a Fellow Blogger and What's Up with the Pig?

Last Friday night, EG and I were pleased to get to have dinner with Fran I Am, who we met for the first time in person that evening. We went to an Irish pub, Fran gave the pig some of her beer, we shot the breeze and shot some photos. But the Genius has been under the weather and I don't have the camera. So to read Fran's account and see some photos, click here.

I do like me some Irish pubs, but really, it's all just a countdown 'til I'm drunk enough to sing Pogues songs loudly in the worst Irish accent ever.

Glad you got together and were had by a good time!

Oh - did someone say the Pogues...

Pistols at Dawn, drunk or not, do you have teeth? Me boy Shane, he has some dental issues, but I loves him.

Aw, I'm jealous! I love Irish pubs and I'd love to meet Fran.

Oh, and you of course.

I keep sending the pig, but really I should be throwing myself in an envelope and meeting you guys. If it wasn't for all that damn postage...

Wendyb,

Who wouldn't?

Fran,

No. He just doesn't have the greatest sinuses.

Pistols,

Worst Irish accent ever, huh? There could so be a contest for that. Any actor who sounds like the Lucky Charms guy can enter.

Skydad,

Indeed. Let us know if you ever get over this way!

Beckeye,

Maybe we'll hit the Blarney Stone one of these days. I actually do get to NYC from time to time.

McGone,

Wow, does that sound uncomfortable. And I once took Greyhound from NYC to Missoula, MT.

Kristi, you're totally good enough, you're just not here. Fran came to us. You're welcome anytime.

I do have a few teeth left, but I'm hoping to lose them to Shane in a barfight.
